She began her international career in 1990 in Vienna, Austria, where she developed and produced communication materials for the United Nations International Year of the Family. She later served as corporate spokesperson for Philips Medical Systems in the Netherlands, where she trained senior leaders how to effectively communicate the company's messages through interviews with international news media. She developed an integrated strategy that helped Philips reach a new audience of healthcare executives through high-level seminars, a Europe-wide media relations campaign, collateral materials and a website. The campaign increased awareness of Philips as a leader in healthcare business issues, and garnered numerous new sales prospects for the company. Pam managed communication around the launch of an imaging system that
helped Philips X-ray Pam is an active member of the International Association of Business
Communicators (IABC). She holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication
